From the New Haven Register’s account of locals’ memories of Gerald Ford:

Judy Nicolari of Ansonia met Ford when he was vice president in the mid-’70s at a fund-raiser for Republican Ronald Sarasin, who was running for Congress. “We talked about our astrological signs, about horoscopes,” Nicolari said. “He was very down to earth.”

No pun intended, I’m sure.
